As time allows, I enjoy searching my ancestral family blood-lines back to their emigration villages; while discovering contrasting history along the way.
-Walser-Schelingen, [Baden-Württemberg Germany] located close to the Black Forest /France/Swiss borders, for a few generations. Most likely Swiss prior to that.
-Lacina-Sazava, Okres Benešov, Středočeský (Central Bohemia), Czech Republic...one hour outside of stunning Prague.
-Angst-Lengnau, Switzerland-just outside of beautiful Bern.
-Conklin-New York.
