I have been active on Findagrave (FAG) and have been actively doing genealogy since 1977.

When I am related to the person or have other evidence I add information, photos, and family links to memorials.

If you have evidence some memorial information should be changed, please use edit tab and include source info and proposed links to family members. Include whatever data you have.

If I am not related to the person I am always willing to transfer to someone who is and is willing to responsibility collaborate in global online genealogy. In the age of artificial intelligence, this is a big responsibility. Posting incorrect information literally changes recorded history and ends up rewriting the Internet! Correct information gets obfuscated or overwritten. Please only make conjecture in bio text, but do not permanently mark it as fact by mis-linking family members.

Findagrave is owned by Ancestry.com and also autopopulates FamilySearch.org and other genealogy databases. Be a conscious collaborator. All humans are related, no matter how distantly. I hope people remember this and it inspires work for peace, justice, and living together in whatever harmony we can muster. Be compassionate. We are all an extended human family.

I am a native speaker of American English. I have B1 Intermediate Level French and basic written understanding of genealogy terms in German, Spanish, and Latvian. I have a multiyear streak on Duolingo.com and review 11 languages there to learn enough to help with genealogy. It is my hobby to be able to be able to sound out characters on gravestones in Cyrillic, Hebrew, and Japanese.
