Being a volunteer on Findagrave, one of the proudest moments was when we were nominated and selected as Find a Grave Volunteer of the Month for July, 2020. Thanks, Findagrave, for this kind recognition of the hard work we do to help others find their loved ones.

I do volunteer in many ways on this site, mainly documenting Roosevelt Memorial Park in Gardena. If you are requesting a photo of a grave near me, please reach out to the cemetery before requesting a photo of your loved one's grave and ask them for the location, which includes the curb #, and enter that location once you submit your request. This can save the photographer a trip to the office asking for the exact location.

Regarding the photos that I've taken, you are more than free to use them as you see fit; all I ask is that you mention our name and findagrave where you found them. Any time you "borrow" someone else's photo, you should always give credit, regardless of who they are. It's the right and courteous thing to do. Some folks out there take and rework (manipulate) and call the pic their own. Acknowledging that you got the Original photo from someone else. Thanks much
