I began my journey on this site almost 18 years ago, Different Last name, acct and ect. That no longer exist. ( X Husband Mr. A.. changed Internet carried & ect. ) & for Inquiring MINDS-- & THAT acct is Now Marked Inactive-- MEANING --- DOES Not Log in anymore. My name is Not Inportant, my work is!

I am a Non-claimed genealogist/ & cemetery historian for MY immediate family 1980's. Started inquiring about family names in 1972. YES I AM OLD---Now days , my great husband, ( along with our 4 legged fur Baby) up-date , Photograph cemeteries, map , gps. add ect, since retirement , not only new ones but older ones, that are showing signs of deuteriation and are becoming unreadable.

We are involved in several groups & projects in our area to help with family research , cemeteries ect.

When we aren't out and about you can find me researching, a the never ending research for our family tree . Puzzle's that connect the past to the future & To preserve the past to ensure info for the future.

I also dabble in acrylic painting as a relaxation hobby. Help my husband with mowing & chores outside. He loves growing flowers and we love our hummingbirds, wildwife and Bird watching.

Please DO NOT add as a grave Photo. THIS is a problem for any one who is a Volunteer, because when a volunteer is trying to find a certain Last name during a Headstones search , it will show all Added. When many are NOT. . This also applies to Double Last Names on a Memorial. MANY Headstones are Single Last Name ONLY.

I never find a stone that has a ladies's last name in multiples. Imagine being married 5 Times with all that on a stone.. NOT-

Many headstones are often NOT found because the boxes had been inappropriately checked.

ITS confusing and HARD and almost Impossible to Research one with MANY LAST NAMES.

So I Link all Spouses IF POSSIBLE

I Add to Bio ALL MARRIAGES

and I hyperlink when necessary

SO NO --- I DO NOT LIKE ADDING MULTIPLE LAST NAMES TO ANY MEMORIAL.

& YES I AM FULLY AWARE OF WHAT THE GUIDELINES SAY IF OK.. BUT IT'S UP TO THE MANAGER.

My great AUNT or even an X -sister-n-law would turn Over in her Grave IF she Knew she had 4 Last names added to her memorial. Jones-Smith-Walls-Smith

I mean WHY?

When her stone clearly states SMITH-- and she is attatched to her husbands, if Deceased, and her Smith Children are Linked. I spend Many hours trying to Link families. Out of respect and Kindness. So Others in the future can find a relative. MAYBE.

AND/OR - yes I add periods to Middle names.

Yes I start Many memorials with.

Jane Doe

1900-2026 ( EXAMPLE)

Wife of: JOHN DOE

THATS my option-- so with that said-

I also add a prefix such as Mr. Miss Mrs. ect to many.

Thats out of respect.

It does Not change the Bio

nor should it be a problem.

WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES..so If you find something wrong or Link or named, ect just be nice and just kindly send the edit and I'll address it as soon as humanly possible.

several memorials that were NOT ORIGINALLY ADDED by me but I NOW manage have incorrect info.

( THOSE WERE ADDED BY deceased contributors) We're working on those asap.

You may use any photos I've taken of headstones to add to your Ancestry tree, BUT ~~ DO NOT ADD to OTHER WEBSITES---PERTAINING TO GRAVES or to OTHER memorials here-- not any of them.! Example would be if Joe Doe died in 1976 and I added a stone showing him and a spouse, and she passed recently. DO NOT CUT-COPY- or ADD MY Photo to Her Memorial. I DO KNOW 3 people that are BAD for doing this.

AND RECENTLY : I'm getting Several suggested edits to REMOVE the veterans prefix in front of the name because:

Rank as Title does NOT carry over after enlistment for a veteran unless retired from career of military service or death in service

SO when I GET AN EDIT to REMOVE--- I remove -- BUT If I get an edit to ADD BACK-- I ADD Them.. Easy Peasy.

So I get LOTS to remove somthing-- another member comes along and adds it.

A contributor in another State ( NOPE not my kin folk) has Most of them-- & as of Sept of 2026 , I reckon that person is still alive.

They CLAIM kin to everybody, even Mr. Edd. Lassie and King Kong & King Tut.

■ Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.

■ Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.

EVEN UNKNOWN & CREMATIONS. Had they NOT--- all the FAMOUS would NOT be listed on this site. WHO KNEW!

EXAMPLE-- IF I die in the middle of road going to hospital, ect,, the DEATH CERTIFICATEs will state the Nearest hospital near My location where they take my body.
