My research begins in America with my 5th Great Grandparents William Carson and Sarah Cassidy who arrived in Northumberland Co. PA from Ireland before 1746, and their children.

Another area of focus is Alexander's son William C. Carson, who moved his family from Beaver PA to Meigs County Ohio in 1836.
William C. Carson married Mary Elizabeth Chidester in 1822 and the union produced seven sons.
