Can I post animated GIFS, MIDIs (music files) or other non-personal images?

No. MIDI music files, animated GIF images, and other non-personal images are not allowed in the Photo section of a memorial page. Non-personal images include flowers, angels, flags, banners, coats of arms, etc. These types of images can be added when you Leave a Flower. Custom Icons and Virtual Flowers can be added to your Scrapbook.

In family historical research one small error can lead someone down a completely wrong path. If you are planning to put a military headstone on a unmarked grave. Make dang sure it's the right soldier, right grave, regiment, company, state he or she served. If you send me info about a soldiers family with a common last name but you don't know what state or company they served in. I can't approve it until you can prove what regiment they serve. I will also decline it if it is a different soldier with the same name and try to explain it to you. If you cannot answer my request of proof in a week for an answer to my request then I will deny it. It's up to you to furnish me proof and you can re-request the info with proof.

My goal is to add some important statistics or information to a persons site or to unite the branches of a family tree in order to help the genealogists of the future . We would not be the great nation we are without having had countless, redoubtable citizen soldiers willing to sacrifice life and limb for our independence and freedom.
