Hi, fellow Gravers! Please feel free to use any photos I've taken for

non-commercial purposes. If you're interested in managing any of my memorials, just ask! I'm only related to a handful of them and will gladly transfer any others.

My main focus is on photographing graves. I usually take an extra photo in addition to a close-up of the grave. I try to make them as readable and as pretty as possible, and to include something distinctive to help locate the site.

To be sure I'm photographing the right grave for a request (and to help find it in the first place), I use cemetery records to verify the plot number and also identify the plots adjacent to it. If it turns out that the cemetery records were in error, please let me know so I can replace with a photo of the correct gravesite.

Although my main focus is on photographing graves, I do submit edit suggestions if I notice the info on the headstone is different from the memorial or the cemetery records. I don't presume to know which is correct and am not the right person to make edits; I just think these differences can make things very difficult for a researcher, and I hope the records will be made as complete and accurate as possible while there's still someone alive who knows which information is correct. Maybe you're that person.

If I suggest any edits you don't like, I hope you won't take it personally. Please just accept or reject them as you see fit; I don't track them and won't contact you again about it.

I am open to feedback and edits/corrections on my contributions. Please message me if my work is getting in your way somehow. Everyone has their own preferences and I do my best to accommodate! The goal is to help out where I can, otherwise stay out of the way. There's plenty of other work to be done.

For birthdate calculations, I use the Date Calculator at Calculator.net to check my results. Being a skeptic by nature, I tested it first by picking random dates and also "tricky" dates it might mess up on, doing the calculations myself and checking against the calculator's results. Whenever I think it's wrong, it usually turns out that my calculation is the one that's wrong—but it's not perfect either. If I can't resolve the conflict, I don't submit the edit.
