Retired school teacher, living in London - I'm interested in 3 main family lines:
Peet - from the Wigan, Burscough, Ormskirk, Lancashire, England area
Burton - originally from Norfolk (farming) - the area just south west of Norwich - Forncett St Peter, Aslacton, Wreningham but then moved to London in the early 1800s. (Timber Merchants). One Burton family moved to Canada in the 1860s with 10+ children so there will be Canadian relatives.
Forte - in Barbados from late 1600s, and Somerset before that, Bristol from mid 1800s and then London. There are branches in USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia too I believe.
