My name is Rob Kaiser. I live in Queens NY. I became kind of addicted to genealogy in April of 2023. Since then I built a pretty large family tree. Really learned everything as I went along building the tree since all was deceased that could help me. Started a Find a Grave account in 2024 in order to suggest an edit to correct the bio on my 4th great grandfather. Now its September of 2025 and I have started creating memorials and requesting transfers of memorials that are close family members. A lot have missing or incomplete information and I would like to have more accurate and detailed information for genealogists and loved ones to discover. I am in Cypress Hills Cemetery like 2 times a month due to my parents, grandparents and great grandparents all being buried there. In October 2025 , I have started to do some photo requests, mainly at St Johns Cemetery. Sometimes I take pics of surrounding headstones , if there is no memorial, I create one. . I prefer to only manage memorials that are in my family tree. There are only 100 of those. But I have taken so many pictures I had to create lots of memorials . I now manage more then I would.like. Lots of them need research and more details added. If they didnt need details or research I would just transfer to find a grave . I have been doing a lot of photo requests at St Johns . You all have my permission to repost the photos I have taken or add them to other memorials. I usually try to post the pictures of the headstone to everyone listed on the stone but sometimes I do.not. So please dont hesitate to add my pics to other memorials or memorials you created. Its usually due to someone on my pic didnt have a memorial. Thats the whole purpose of this site. I actually love when the member whom requested the photo creates memorials on the others listed on the stone. I always wondered why members would ask me to add the pics. Now I know its cause I have to explicitly say its ok. Oh and no need to credit me.
