Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville was founded in 1908. The original cemetery was across the street at the present site of River Products Co. All of the bodies were moved to the new site except one, Anna, wife of John Davis, who is still interred there. The cemetery expanded from the original section in the back and side right (Blocks I & II), to the back of the cemetery in the 1940's (Block III), to the center section in the 1950's (Blocks IV, V, & VI), to the last section of the cemetery in the early 2000's (Block VII). There tends to be only burials in the Blocks IV, V, VI, & VII in present day. All of the upright spaces have been sold in the cemetery as of around 2016, so the only plots left for purchasing are in Block VII, which is the flat section.
