THANKS to all the wonderful volunteers on this site. It is great to have so many great people helping others. It feels like an obsession to document and honor these past lives. I started my genealogical interest at a very young age because my sweet grandmothers talked about the past and showed photographs and documents to me as a kid. The interest became a hobby and then an obsession. Decades later I am still volunteering to help others to get "bit by the genealogy bug".

FIND A GRAVE
You may add anything to the memorials I manage. Please feel free to upload death certificates, obituaries, photos or anything that enhances the details of the person's life. I am only a caretaker not gatekeeper to their memory. I add primary references when I find them and post obituaries and death certificates as I have time.


You may use anything I post including photos and content. The photos I own belong to all future generations. Please feel free to visit my virtual cemeteries for specific family ancestors and topical groups of interest. I update as much information as I can on the bios and link to relatives as many of these I have personally researched. I am also happy to exchange more information or to correct anything I have.


TRANSFERS
I will happily transfer any memorials that are not my family's direct ancestors to those interesting in maintaining them since a majority of these are not related to me (especially those at Ebenezer, Glen Haven, Oak Lawn, Orems, and St. Stanislaus cemeteries).


MY ANCESTRY
My grandparents on both sides came to Maryland in the 1940s with my father's side from Greece and my mother's side being mostly from Virginia but originally Scotland, England, Germany, and other European countries.


My paternal ancestors for last three centuries are documented in Greece (Kymi, Euboia Island and Nisyros, Dodecanese Islands). Ώπα! Αἰωνία ἡ μνήμη!


My maternal ancestors for last four centuries are documented in Virginia (Shenandoah area of Virginia and Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts prior) and immigrants from various parts of Europe including Germany, Scotland, England and Wales.


My children and grandchildren have ancestors mostly from Maryland and then from many parts of Europe and can be found in the Virtual cemeteries.


MY BIOGRAPHY
I was born and raised in Baltimore living my whole life in the Southeast Baltimore area never far from where I was born and near where my family have lived for almost a century. I grew up with neighbors who grew up with my parent's and grandparents' generations. I attended and graduated from many local schools - Holabird Elementary, Southeast Middle School, Northeast Middle School, Patterson High School, Community College of Baltimore County (AA), and Loyola University (BS).


Most proudly I am a father of 3 children and grandfather of 5+, godfather and uncle to countless nieces, nephews and cousins and have a large extended family of very close friends that we call family. I have been blessed with numerous wonderful friends including some who are now memorialized on Findagrave.


I have been a Business and Financial Analyst by profession, a non-denominational Protestant Reverend, Notary Public in Maryland, active genealogist, researcher and historian, author of numerous books, newsletters, and articles.

MEMBERSHIPS
For many decades, I was an active member and officer (such as President, Registrar, Genealogist, Archivist, and Secretary) in a number of hereditary society organizations such as the Sons of the American Revolution, War of 1812, Children of the American Revolution, Order of the First Families of Maryland, The Welcome Society of Pennsylvania, Order of the Crown of Charlemagne, Society of the Cincinnati, Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims, Huguenots, Order of AHEPA, etc. so I am happy to help others trace their family history to join the groups. I have documented 31 Patriots of the American Revolution. My kids hold the record for the most documented Patriots in the Maryland SAR at 50! (Second place is 36).


My current projects are updating and then publishing family histories on my own family and extended families.
