I have been an self proclaimed amateur genealogist for many years doing my family research and believe that it is important that the history of the people and places of our ancestors be preserved for the future generations.

It started out as a hobby that has turned into an obsession for knowledge. I have always been fascinated with genealogy and history. I have found out new and exciting knowledge since I started my search. My ancestors include Assel, Dewees, Deweese, Figg, Hunt, Smith, Ortgies, Ulferts, and Waite. My husband's include Collins, Evans, Hall, Howard, James, Martin, Russell, Smith.

All edits I send are using sources such as draft registration, marriage records, death certificate records, census records, cemetery records, or published obituaries. I try to make all of my information as accurate as possible, but I'm only human so if it is not,please let me know!

My current goal is to link as many family member's pages that I can using that information.
