I got started on this site in 2012 when my wife and I decided to photograph the entire Tuscola (Illinois) Cemetery. We catalogued the ones that didn't exist and posted pics for the ones that had none. It was then that I realized how many people are unable to locate ancestors because of no record of where they are buried. I just hope to help those searching for clues.

FYI: It is possible that I may have missed that checkbox on a few, but 99% of them are from a time that Find A Grave did not have the option to designate them as such. Just so you know that it was not out of disrespect . I have tried to go back and update veteran status as I see them, but your corrections help a lot
