I started exploring my roots in the '70s when walking cemeteries, sitting in libraries, and interviewing elderly relatives were my primary research methods. These days, I don't get out much. But today I use a computer to continue to research relatives, record obituaries, contribute to Find-A-Grave, and explore the genealogy of mostly Amish, Amish Mennonite and Mennonite groups in the midwestern U.S., while sitting at home connected to the Internet.
