Before making any requests or edits please read the FG guidelines beforehand, and don't complain to me if your requests are denied or simply ignored because they are outside FG rules.

When requesting a memorial transfer to which I haven't responded, the request is either lacking relationship information and substantive proof of such relationship, or your request falls outside the transfer guidelines. If your request falls into either of these two categories then there will be NO transfer. If one truly wishes to manage one's ancestors then I would suggest applying for the "Right of Burial" from the cemetery authorities then one can attend to the gravesite directly!

Reminder the transfer guidelines are - Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships. If two members are related within these guidelines and both would like to manage the memorial, the member with the closer relationship should be given management.

Please do not suggest an edit that duplicates existing information, as that edit will be rejected/modified.

There seems to be a trend that people are requesting photos be removed from entries, simply because the name of a particular person is not on the headstone, despite the fact that plot number and photo are correct. FG exits so that "we all work together to create a virtual cemetery where it's easy to learn about the final resting place of millions of people from around the world." The photo is just a visual confirmation of the plot in which someone is buried. If you submit a request for removal of one of my photos, simply because you are confused by the headstone inscription, then the answer will be NO!

The Plot numbers I used are directly from the old MGC database and are consistent within each Compartment, this enables people to search on any given number thereby providing a list of everyone in that grave. Do not make edit suggestions which are not in line with the current form.
