Before messaging me about a fulfilled photo request at Prospect Cemetery (Toronto), please read the following:

I've noticed many plots at Prospect Cemetery are unmarked, especially older ones. When there is no headstone or inscription, I always photograph the plot area itself. In many cases, one plot will include multiple individuals—some with headstones and some without, some with inscriptions/dates, and some without.

Please do not send rude or accusatory messages suggesting that I photographed the wrong grave. I always verify plot information before taking photos. I encourage you to double-check the plot details in the cemetery records as I have done.

I am a professional genetic genealogist living in Toronto.

I add and edit my family members' memorials, both my adoptive and biological relatives.

Some of my family surnames: Robilliard, Arnall, Swain, Sutherland, Kitsul, Moran/Maiorana, Martin/Marcinoski, Gushta/Guszta

Some of my bio family surnames: Pellizzari, Bosa, Rizzardo, Pauletto, Begon, Mullen, Pierini, MacCallum, Donnelly

I also add info to people's memorials who lived in the Cowichan Valley, where I grew up, and in Nanaimo, where I lived for four years.

From April 2022 to August 2023 I photographed and GPS'd Roselawn Cemetery in Toronto. I'm currently working on adding plot info to all memorials in Roselawn, as well as finding death dates and full names for everyone.

When the weather is decent I try to get out and do photo requests at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto. I've found that a lot of graves/plots will be unmarked, especially if they are older, but I always take a picture of the plot area if there's no headstone or inscription.

I also go to other Jewish cemeteries (like Roselawn) around the GTA- I am a photo volunteer with JGS Toronto, some photo fulfilment requests will come from there.

Information I add or suggest to memorials that isn't on a gravestone always comes from sources such as birth, marriage, and death records, immigration records or obituaries.

Please feel free to send edits or transfer requests. I would like it if more people managed their own family member's memorials! Also, I am not one of the hoarders/collectors that cause problems on here- I actually get out to the cemeteries and take pictures.

I hope to one day help others as much as other people on here have helped me with my searches- and I love hearing stories from people about their ancestors or relatives whose graves I have pictured!
