"We don't "own" the memorials we manage - they are not ours. We may create them, we may update them, we may transfer them to others - we are but stewards. They are Find A Grave memorials of human beings, departed. They are not "friends" on a social media network website to be collected like baseball trading cards. Romans 3:23 in the Bible says, "all men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

However, no sin is too great to be forgiven, nor is it ever too late to ask Jesus Christ to become your Savior!

Romans 10:9 states, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

God gives salvation and eternal life to those who trust in Jesus Christ and try to follow his teachings. It cannot be earned by believing in God alone, going to church, being a good person, or just because you want it to be that way.

It's a free gift from God that is received by proclaiming Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that he died on the cross and was risen back to life, and asking Jesus to be the lead of your life.

He lived a sinless life and was sacrificed on the cross to pay the penalty for all our sins. If we seek and follow him, we will have eternal life. But, if we turn away and refuse to follow him, we will be held accountable for our own sins.

At your death and the final judgment before God, unbelievers will be separated from the believers and sent into eternal damnation for all eternity. That's a frightening thought demonstrating just how serious sin is to God.

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:6

I urge you to seek out and follow Jesus before it's too late! We must choose wisely in life, or there will be no "resting in peace" for your soul in eternity.

Jaroslav Pelikan put it this way, "If Christ is raised, nothing else matters. If Christ is not raised, nothing matters."

All glory be to God the Creator of all things, and his sovereign reign forever!
