Find a Grave is a wonderful site to honor our proud ancestors who were so brave of heart and soul. Their spirit lives on.

I've enjoyed genealogy for 30 years. When I discovered find a grave my initial goal was to photograph the tombstones/markers of our local veterans that had no photo. Since then I assumed the management of over 8000 other memorials from "fallen graver" or "inactive" contributors. Countless hours were spent researching lineage, connecting family members, visiting cemeteries, posting photos, and correcting multiple mistakes. After completion I have transferred the memorials back to findagrave and they are now managed by other contributors.
