Thank you to everyone that contributes to Find a Grave. Each person contributes in their own way and I appreciate when we can work together to achieve a common goal.

I frequentley take plot photos and unmarked grave photos. If I can find the grave, I will fill a photo request with a plot photo. Please click on the photo and read the caption for more information. I also add the source in the caption for documents that I upload.

I am walking Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan row by row to add plot locations, GPS and photos. I have completed Blocks 1-5 and Blocks 8-11. I am working on Blocks 6 & 7 currently in 2026.

October 2022 and ongoing: I am working on locating the graves of "Detroit's Own" World War I Polar Bears who fought in Russia. They were the 85th Division: 339th Infantry Regiment, the 1st Battalion of 310th Engineers, and the 337th Ambulance & Hospital Companies, as well as the Provisional Companies: 167th Transportation Company (Operations) and 168th Transportation Company (Maintenance). The majority of my current photo requests are for the headstones of these men. I am thankful for the people all over the country and the world who have helped in this project by fulfilling the requests.

My hobby is to walk cemeteries, take photos, GPS graves, find old obituaries, cemetery records and funeral records as well as input plot locations when available. I want to document graves through GPS, plot location and photographs so that even if the headstone fades or disappears, people can still find their ancestors location. I love when all of these sources come together and I can identify a stone and/or an unmarked grave that hadn't previously been identified.

I will transfer any memorial that is not my family or close friend, no matter your relation to the person. Just ask.
