This started out as a hobby for my husband's retirement. We are documenting and recording some of the people that are buried at Roseland Park Cemetery and Oakview Cemetery.

Our first cemetery and the largest is Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI. It has been a daunting task as many headstones have been buried through the passage of time and lack of care & neglect.

In 2020, we have managed to clean and take pictures of American Legion, Section 7, Section 9, Section 21 and Section 15. The prior year we were able to take pictures of the inside of the mausoleum built by Louis Kamper. I have plans to try and catch up on posting these photos of headstone and Monuments. ( I am so far behind)

There are so many notable people and their interesting history. Not to mention the beautiful workmanship on the monuments and headstones in the older sections of both cemeteries.

2024 - The year the weather hasn't been too co-operative. Now that it is September we decided to work on Section 35. It is a large section, so we probably will not finish before the snow falls.

*** Due to the wet weather, we are slow to resume our work at Roseland Park.
