I am a native of Montgomery County, Maryland, and Gate of Heaven Cemetary, is the resting place of my family and the home base for my volunteer work with the Find A Grave community.

Honouring our ancestors and genealogy have always been a passion of mine. The vibrant tapestry of our experiences are vital to understanding who we are and where we come from. Taking time to walk in history reflects the beauty of our souls and humanity. Our resting places have so much to tell us if we only listen and I am happy to be a life long taphophile.

I offer prayers for each soul I photograph. If you would like a Rosary recited, please let me know.

I will provide photos of the requested headstone, plus area views and gps, for ease of location and per company requirements. If other family members are close by, I will photograph them as well.

I tend each grave to ensure the best photographs possible for your loved ones and do so following best practices for preserving headstones. If I notice any damage or maintenance issues with the grave, I will inform the cemetary office for their resolution.

I do my best to fulfill requests as expeditiously as possible while balancing seasonal changes and work.

If you are a close family member and would like to manage a memorial I maintain, please contact me and I'm happy to transfer it to you, provided I am not the closer relative.

If you are an out of area/state Find A Grave volunteer, I am more willing to manage memorials, especially at Gate of Heaven where I live within walking distance, visit almost daily, and can provide personal attention to the souls in this hallowed ground. Please contact me about the transfers.
