We live in a small town in southeast Iowa and spend a lot of time in Graveyards and Cemeteries taking pictures, taking notes, just piecing the families together. Some of these Cemeteries are so old that there are not any other records of the people resting there. When these cemeteries go...so does that person's existence ... every life is worth loving and remembering ... every stone IS a life lived and that life needs to be honored for future generations. A monument is erected not because a person died, but because a person lived.

We would like to thank all of you for your contributions to the preservation of these cemeteries. The peace and serenity found in these old cemeteries is our reward.

If there is a memorial we have added, that is not in our family, we will consider a transfer of the memorial to you.
