Find A Grave's Transfer Policy:  To request a memorial transfer on Find a Grave, go to the memorial page, use the "Suggest Edits" feature, scroll down to "Contact Manager" and explain why you wish the transfer, your relationship to the deceased and your member ID Number. Please follow these guidelines when requesting a transfer. Any other method will be ignored and deleted. I hate taking what seems to be a hard approach to transfers, but I receive too much flack when I would ask the relationship. Thanks for your understanding.

Death Certificates **Kindly** do not add to my memorials because they are tacky, as are long lists of details. The alternative is writing sentences and turn it into a story. I will be happy to assist you in adding missing information to the memorial. Keeping biographies concise instead of redundant is my goal. Use the Edit tab to request edits.

"Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships. If two members are related within these guidelines and both would like to manage the memorial, the member with the closer relationship will be given management".

"Always explain your relationship in the request! Keep in mind that I may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. You may also want to include your specific interest in the memorial."
